Work Scope:
BSV were asked to manufacture, supply and install two off bulkhead weather seals for where the air inlet and exhaust ducts penetrate through the module bulkhead wall where the Gas Turbine is housed. Due to the age of the platform the weather seals both contained ACM’s, this work was classed as notifiable non-licensed and BSV worked with a specialist contractor to remove these seals, BSV then fitted new weather seals.

Installation of a double Firetex module seal (Fire rating A60) around opposing doorway frames linking existing module to new living quarters.
BSV led the installation team and were assisted by a representative from Amec Foster Wheeler.
Installation was completed on time and within budget.

As part of the 2018 TAR BSV were asked to change out 3 off A0 Bulkhead Wall.
Penetration Fire Seals where the Gas Turbine exhausts exits the Module Bulkhead wall.
BSV also fitted high temperature bellow wraps to protect the new seals from exhaust gas escaping through blown expansion joints adjacent to the seals.
