High temperature alarm shut down turbine due to gas leak (Blown gasket).
Not able to separate flanges due to poor original design.
Resolution:
BSV mobilised to platform and recommended supplying 3 bolsters to fully insulate leak as a temporary repair until full change out could be done.
Shipped materials out within 24 hours and fitted over 2 days to allow turbine to go back on line.

BSV had mobilised to changeout fabric expansion joints, however, when old fabric bellows were removed the flanges were so badly corroded they disintegrated and would not take the new bolts therefore new fabric bellows could not be fitted.
Resolution:
BSV fitted temporary wraps until new expansion joint assemblies were fabricated by BSV to allow the gas turbine to run.

Changed out by taking existing new bellow from stock which BSV mobilised at short notice, cut to size on site and fitted within a few days.
