Paul Devlin Director

Paul studied Mechanical Engineering at The University of Strathclyde and during summer holidays worked with BSV fitting expansion bellows in the UKCS. Following graduation he joined a Commercial Refrigeration Company in Glasgow which led to a long career in the Refrigeration and later the HVAC business.

After 8 years in Commercial Refrigeration, he moved into Industrial Refrigeration and worked as a Projects/Contracts Engineer. He worked on large scale Industrial Process Cooling Projects and gained experience in large air cooled and water cooled chillers including pipe work design, selection of valves, controls and heat exchangers.

He then joined Johnson Controls (formerly York International) as a Contracts Engineer where he Project Managed large Industrial Refrigeration Projects up to 1.5MW’s. Prior to joining BSV he lived in West Yorkshire where he advised Building Services Engineers on equipment selection and design for the HVAC Industry.

He now lives in Aberdeen with wife Angela. He enjoys all sports but particularly enjoys mountain biking, golf and skiing.

Kevin Devlin Director

Kevin has a BAHons in Economics and Marketing from The University of Strathclyde. Following University he joined ScottishPower’s graduate training scheme where he stayed for 7 years. Kevin was involved in an initiative to 'Transform' the business leveraging Six Sigma change methodology. Kevin trained as a Six Sigma Black belt delivering large scale business improvements and cost saving initiatives. Following this Kevin consulted in Six Sigma and Lean change methodologies as a Master Black Belt in Financial Services delivering large scale programmes to Barclays and other global banks. Most recently, Kevin was a Vice President in Barclays Wealth and Investment Management where he led large transformation programmes of work to make a step change in business process and performance.

Kevin has a wife Lindsey and three young boys Matthew, Andrew and Jack. He currently coaches mini rugby at our local rugby club.
